● Formed in early 1999, KeyBEMO® are part of the Bowmer & Kirkland Group of Companies.

● KeyBEMO® manufactures the BEMO roofing system for the UK marketplace.
● KeyBEMO roofing has a 40 year history world-wide with 29 years’ experience in the UK, with over 40 million square metres installed world-wide.

● In just 12 years KeyBEMO® have become suppliers to major clients such as Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, NHS Lift Projects, Royal Mail, Railtrack, Network-Rail, Ministry Of Defence, Ministry Of Justice Prison Projects, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, ASDA, Glaxo, Ford Motor Company, Sports Stadia incl. KeyBEMO® are a compact business team with personnel expertise in all aspects of standing seam roofing, including:

MANUFACTURE

● KeyBEMO® design and manufacture standing seam roofing at our Derbyshire factory or job-side on site.
● Produced in: Aluminium Natural Stucco Embossed, Aluminium PVF², ARS or Polyester Coated, Steel Plastisol or PVF² Coated, Stainless Steel, Copper, Zinc
● 3 cover widths – 305mm, 400mm and 500mm.
● Manufacture rate on site approximately 2,500-3,000m² per day.
● Tapered and Curved Tapered sheet facility
● Smooth curving and crimp curving facility.
● All forms of curvature undertaken.
● Longest single roof sheet to date is 127 metres.

THE SUPPLY CHAIN

● KeyBEMO® manage the supply chain from raw material to manufacture and give full support to KeyBEMO® approved contractors for all site works.
● All raw materials are purchased to our own stringent specifications from known quality suppliers (Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products Ltd, Arcelor-Mittal, Corus Strip Products, Uniclad, Dobel, Euramax, SFS, EJOT, Knauf Insulation, Rockwool, PSP Ltd and CGL Ltd).
● Where required, dual sourcing takes place.

DESIGN

● Design of the roofing is simplified using the KeyBEMO® design manual and standard CAD details (which are available on disk).
● Full technical support is always on hand from a number of sources – the roofing contractor, the KeyBEMO® area manager, or KeyBEMO® head office.
● KeyBEMO® will give full assistance with the presentation and compilation of the roofing specification for materials and installation from simple constructions through to high acoustic requirements.
● Ability to provide the following:
● Condensation Risk Analysis
● Acoustic Predictions and Testing on Various KeyBEMO® Roof
● Constructions
● Gutter Calculations
● Site Inspections and Reports

INSTALLATION

● Site management is undertaken by the KeyBEMO® approved contractors following the terms of the sub-contract.
● Installation of the KeyBEMO® Roofing System may only be undertaken by fitters trained and certified by KeyBEMO®.
● Inspection of work during and on completion undertaken by KeyBEMO®Technical Department.

WARRANTY

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE

● Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products, who are Europe’s largest Aluminium producer, provide and have provided historically, the aluminium utilised in the production of KeyBEMO®. The aluminium utilised is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable. The recycling process has no detrimental effect on the performance of the product in terms of durability or structural performance. Through reprocessing, only 5% of the energy required to produce aluminium from raw materials is used, coupled with the use of hydroelectric power we have a very sustainable and completely closed loop supply. The aluminium utilised in the production of KeyBEMO® carries a 40-year guarantee directly from Hydro. The aluminium will have a minimum life of 50 years in 0.9mm gauge. Single core material will have no lesser life expectancy than clad alloy and weathers in an even and uniform manner.
