Robust Details

At KeyBemo® Limited we have had our “Robust Details” 3D Thermally modelled by the BRE (East Kilbride) to verify compliance with the requirement of approved document L2 A and L2 B . This testing established both the minimum factor (ƒ min) and the transition heat loss coefficient (ψ) which are shown on the various details. These valued are then utilised in determining the overall thermal performance of the building envelope and the “Robust Details” for its compliance with the air-tightness requirement (containment and heat loss prevention).
